MY STORY

Thank you for taking the time to view my UX work. I'm excited about UX. My years in design have given me a great foundation and the progression seems a natural one.  My experience and personality enable me to conduct user research and testing with confidence and insight. I can empathise with many people (life experience helps) and have a natural ability to observe and ask questions in a quiet and observant manner. 

I've been designing since I was very young and I took this natural inclination into a career that has spanned over 25 years. My move into UX is feels very natural and is really exciting to me. I'm thrilled to have discovered it.

I''m comfortable with the very essence of UX (empathising, listening and communicating) and I can bring my design skills into a new arena. II feel my experience and skills are helpful and this has inspired me.

I have many years experience as an exhibition, packaging and digital designer, gained in environments from client-side to agency — in corporate, retail, manufacturing, education and government sectors.  I founded a design company and directed this for 10 years. I'm currently in a small start-up. I'm happy to say that UX feels just right for me.
